Alif Tajweed Academy, as our founder Sabina Kamal fondly calls it; ‘the baby of TMEA Global, Malaysia’, is the institution where she began studying Tajweed 7 years back and feels blessed to have met a Quran Teacher and Mentor like Sheikhah Wafaa, Founder & President of TMEAG.
Her Tajweed journey began as a result of trying to find answer to a question she was once asked .” Have you ever thought; everyone claims to Love Allah ( subhanahu wa ta’ala ) but who does Allah love ?” At the end of the 6 days Tajweed Made Easy intensive course, she didn’t find herself enrolling into the Academy but knew that she never wanted to lose touch and ‘stay connected’ with TMEAG.
So she continued to work as a Volunteer to support TMEAG, till one day in a brainstorming meeting with Sheikhah Wafaa she was told ‘ if you really want to understand the TMEAG better, to help it grow and understand its challenges, you need to become its student first” and that’s how her recitation in TMEAG began and still continues.
5 years later she suggested to Sheikhah wafaa to help her setup TMEAG operations in India for expansion, however she was surprised and filled with gratitude and awe at Sheikhas response; “Why don’t you start an Academy dear, and I’ll support you”. Since then it’s been an amazing learning journey for her.
The big realisation ?
What better way to connect our heart with our Creator than His Glorious words?
So join us in this journey to Perfect our recitation and recite His Glorious words with precision and consistency such that He may be pleased with us and help us cleanse our hearts and make our journey rewarding.
Let us together create and leave behind a legacy of goodness that helps us earn Hasanah long after we’re gone inshAllah!
Welcome to the TMEAG
In 2012, Sheikhah Wafaa founded Tajweed Made Easy Academy Global (TMEAG) with the vision of spreading correct recitation of Allah’s Words around the globe. With only a small team of teachers, the Academy started offering classes to the public. Currently, the teaching team has grown to 22 teachers and counting. The Academy offers online courses to non-Arabic speaking sisters and children worldwide. Students can learn the Qur’an with a qualified and trained female teacher, from the comfort of their homes.
The Academy continuously strives to train qualified teachers and to provide a pleasant yet effective learning experience to the students. As the Academy grows, new programs will be introduced to meet the needs of the students in-sha-Allah.
When was the last time you read a letter?
Specially a letter from a dear one or the most beloved one?
Imagine you got a letter and Invitation, from the king of Japan or a Celebrity you admire in a language you dont really understand, what would you do?
Absolutely! you would be anxious to translate and read it? Right?!
Why Choose us
So Arabic not being our mother tongue there are mistakes we are BOUND to make. Simple things like the difference in the sound of Seen, Swaad and sa letters. They all sound like the English letter ‘S’ right?
Unlike in English or Urdu or Hindi, the meaning of the word wouldn’t change, but in Arabic it does. Sofor example it doesn’t matter if you were to say ” He’s talking” or ” He’s taaaaalking”.. It still means the same, right?
But in the Arabic language whether you read”Qaalaa” or “Qaaaaalaa” it sure does.. from ” He said” to “both of them said”….
